Ethyl Chloride spray eases Botox discomfort
A Canadian dermatologist suggested that Ethyl chloride spray can relieve discomfort associated with Botox injections for the hands and the feet.
“I encourage other dermatologists to use it, because it is cost effective and easy to administer,” asserts Robert Richards, M.D. during the annual meeting of the Canadian Dermatology Association.
Apart from ethyl chloride, Botox discomfort can also be alleviated by nerve blocks, vibration, topical anesthetics and various forms of cooling. But, Dr. Richards strongly asserts that ethyl chloride is the most effective anesthetic.
Roberts adds, “It is extremely safe, economical, easy to use and does not require special equipment.”
