Laser Lipolysis Workshop at LaserInnsbruck 2010 on September 17, 2010
The third assembly of the congress “LaserInnsbruck 2010, Advances and Controversies in Laser and Aesthetic Surgery”, an internationally established scientific meeting takes place September 15 – 18, 2010. Within the scope of this year’s conference the ”International Academy of Body Contouring and Laser Lipolysis” will organize a Workshop for all conference attendees under the direction of faculty member Katharina Russe-Wilflingseder, MD.
In positive collaboration with the industry, the Academy offers training options as well as continuing education possibilities in the university context, which is seldom offered in the field of liposuction. The Academy regularly organizes one-day workshops with the intention to communicate specific knowledge in small study groups.
Since 1995 Katharina Russe-Wilflingseder, MD has directed one of the biggest laser centers of its kind in Austria. As a specialist in plastic surgery she has been working successfully with lasers in aesthetic medicine for many years.
The workshop on September 17, 2010 in Innsbruck titled “My experiences and perspectives in laser lipolysis; including video demonstration” will be guided by Katharina Russe-Wilflingseder, MD. As a skilled and qualified surgeon she will speak about her knowledge and observations during 3 years of clinical experience with this new technique. She will clearly demonstrate to the participants the results of various approaches, pros and cons in view of treatment options and procedures for different indications and treatment targets. With a video-recording of a laser-assisted lipolysis treatment interested parties can view the detailed steps of the procedure, exchange experiences and raise questions for discussion.
