IAPAM Announces the 2012 Dates for Symposiums with Botox ®Training and hCG Training
Patient demand for Botox ® and other minimally invasive cosmetic procedures is at an all time high. The IAPAM is helping physicians enter this lucrative market by offering their dermatologist-led, 2-day Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox ® Training. Physicians learn everything they need to start offering Botox ® and other in-demand aesthetic medicine procedures. Today, the IAPAM announced its 2012 dates for its respected Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums and hCG Physician Training seminars.
Two recent surveys, published in the article “Impact of the Current Economy on Facial Aesthetic Surgery,” appearing in the September 2011 issue of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, reveal that “many patients are delaying facial plastic surgery and instead seeking out less-costly nonsurgical options due to the impact of the current recession. “That the current economy is affecting patients’ choices around facial rejuvenation is not so surprising, since previous surveys from ASAPS have shown a decrease in aesthetic surgical procedures and a slight uptick in nonsurgical procedures over recent years,” said T. Jonathan Kurkjian MD, of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, who served as lead author of the study.
Physicians considering the launch of a medspa are making a wise business decision, as they capitalize on this “uptick” in non-surgical procedure demand. To assist physicians in entering this lucrative market, The International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine’s (http://www.iapam.com) Aesthetic Medicine Symposium (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com) is designed by physicians for physicians to support the addition of aesthetic medicine modalities, including botox ®, to an existing practice, or launching a medical spa. This 2 day educational event showcases the most important clinical and business aesthetic medicine training. Physicians who complete the IAPAM’s Symposium have a competitive advantage.
Over 950 physicians (MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, and DDSs), as well as their medspa managers, registered nurses, and assistants, have attended the IAPAM’s hands-on Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com/botoxtraining) and hCG Training (http://www.hcgtraining.com) seminars since 2006. Today, the IAPAM announced the 2012 dates for its Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona:
January 28-29, 2012
April 28-29, 2012
June 2-3, 2012
The Aesthetic Medicine Symposium provides physicians:
– dedicated instruction from two board-certified dermatologists, who are true experts of the skin and cosmetic injectables.
– hands-on practice in the best injection techniques.
– botox ® training at a multi-million dollar medical practice, not in a hotel room.
– an environment that does not allow exhibitors, giving doctors more time for education.
– the opportunity to attend the Symposium’s Aesthetic Practice Startup Workshop (http://www.iapam.com/bootcamp.html) on the Monday after each Symposium, a program highlighting the latest information on medspa business development and social media marketing.
– the opportunity to attend the IAPAM’s hCG/Medical Weight Management (http://www.hcgtraining.com) on Friday before each Symposium, which covers hCG for weight loss, prescription appetite suppressants, ketogenic diet based programs, meal replacement and B6/12 injections.
Dates for the 2012 hCG Medical Weight Loss Training, in Scottsdale, Arizona, have also been announced:
January 27, 2012
April 27, 2012
June 1, 2012
