Clinic Sees Surge in 2008 Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Procedures
The non surgical rhinoplasty, or nose job, was one of 2008’s most inquired about filler services at the Twin Cities medical spa, Skin Rejuvenation Clinic of Edina. Although the procedure can’t reduce the size of a larger nose, it can be an excellent alternative to plastic surgery for those people seeking to camouflage bumps, drooping tips (“ski jump”), or crooked noses.
At Skin Rejuvenation Clinic, the non surgical rhinoplasty is performed by board certified physicians using a dermal filler such as Radiesse®, Restylane®, JuvedermTM, or Perlane®. Dr. Mark Hagberg adds that during the non surgical nose job, patients are kept awake and very comfortable. “The filler we inject allows us to see the contouring immediately, so the patient sees their own transformation in progress, allowing them to be actively involved in their own procedure,” he says. “So the level of patient satisfaction is very high.”
