Focus on Skin Care Packages and Gift Certificates for the Holidays

December 7, 2010 |

With the holiday season in full swing, this is the time for medical spas to pull out all the stops and focus on selling gift certificates or gift cards for the holidays.   This is critical in order to keep your aesthetic practice busy through the traditionally slower months of January and February. As well, you should be creating great holiday skin care gift packages for both men and women.  Try and make it easy for your clients; create a complete package of skin care products along with a holiday themed gift bag or box.

When creating skin care kits, focus on your local climate. If you experience a dryer climate in the winter, then focus on selling kits for dry skin conditions. If your clientele consists of a lot of skiers, put together a skiers skin care survival kit. This is also a great time to hold a “Holiday Winter Skin Clinic Open House.” Bring together your skin care, mineral makeup & laser reps, put together some great skin care gift packages, and do some aesthetic procedure demonstrations.

Remember for December you need to focus on: (1) selling aesthetic services (i.e. Botox, Skin Rejuvenation, Chemical Peels) for the holidays, (2) selling gift certificates and gift cards for gifts, and (2) creating skin care kits that can make easy gifts.

Have a great holiday season!

Cheers,   Jeff Russell
