Holiday Marketing for Medical Spas

The holiday season is coming very quickly. Thanksgiving will be here, and before you know it the holiday party season will begin.! For Medspas, this is the time you need to focus on selling those gift certificates and special packages. Since January is typically a slower month in aesthetics, you want to make sure you sell many packages in December so you have patients coming in for the first quarter of 2011.

As those of you who have attended the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium already know, the key to success in the aesthetic medicine industry will revolve around creating the right package for your customers. Now is the time to focus on creating those packages. For ideas, think about what your customers are looking for: a holiday makeover, an anti-aging protocol, a winter reprieve,  or eyejuvenation (with Botox®, Latisse® and dermal fillers).

Packaging treatments  has long been a successful marketing strategy.  The key to the success of this tactic is to know which services will be more appealing to your patients when packaged with your “bread and butter” treatment offerings (Botox®, laser hair removal, dermal fillers, chemical peels or laser skin resurfacing etc.).  Packaging services will generally make your clients feel like they are receiving more for their money.
