Physicians Use iPads to Improve Learning at IAPAM’s Botox Training

April 25, 2011 |

Today, the IAPAM announces that it is providing access to many of the clinical images used in its Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox Training, to physicians through their iPads. The IAPAM is the industry leader in providing expert training to physicians in aesthetic medicine procedures, including: Botox, dermal fillers, medical microdermabrasion, medical grade chemical peels and lasers for hair removal and skin resurfacing.

For many physicians, adding aesthetic medicine to a practice is a new endeavor, and the physician-lead training offered by the IAPAM provides doctors with the knowledge and support they need to make their healthcare businesses a success. Part of the support the IAPAM (http://www.iapam.com) offers physicians, is access to many of the clinical images displayed during the didactic portion of its Symposium with Botox Training (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com). Using the exclusive “Members Only” iPad web portal, physicians can now zoom in on clinical photos and anatomy illustrations, giving them a better understanding of how different aesthetic procedures affect the body. The IAPAM maintains its status as the global leader in aesthetic medicine and botox training for physicians, by giving its members access to the latest technology to help them treat patients.

The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium instructs physicians on these key fundamentals:

  • Understanding the latest trends in aesthetic medicine and how to use them to the advantage of the physician and his/her clinic;
  • How to develop a patient base;
  • How to perform aesthetic patient consultations;
  • How to add cosmetic injectable procedures, including: Botox ®, and dermal fillers (i.e. Juvederm ®), chemical peels, and physician directed skin care; and
  • Extensive, physician lead, hands-on training in Botulinum Toxin Type A (i.e. Botox®), IPL / laser technology, and medical microdermabrasion.

The IAPAM offers the most comprehensive education and credentialing towards certification in Aesthetic Medicine for physicians entering or practicing in the field.  The IAPAM’s educational programs are presented by a fully accredited faculty, who are experts in cosmetic injectables and aesthetic medicine treatments.  Finally, the IAPAM continues to offer the industry’s best clinical, hands-on, aesthetic medicine training in the most advanced skin care procedures.
